Some people have a real sense of persistence. When they get an idea in their heads, there’s just no stopping them until they get exactly what they want.
This is exactly how I’d sum up Clint and Rachel, a fantastic couple from Sydney I was privileged to work with a little while back.
When Clint first approach me about some erotic photography of his partner Rachel and himself, he told me of his frustration in trying to find a photographer who would take the kind of images that they wanted.
“We’ve approached a few photographers here in Sydney, but none of them wanted to help”, Clint said, “One photographer agreed to take some erotic shots, but refused to put his name to them”. I’ll admit that last one kind of had me puzzled.
In any case, it was pretty clear that Hot Chilli Photography was able to offer Clint and Rachel exactly what they wanted.
Clint told me that Rachel wanted to be sure they were dealing with a professional, so I told him I was happy to speak with her and answer any questions she had. I’ve done this type of work a lot, and I know that it’s usually the lady who’s (understandably) the most cautious.
Speaking with Rachel on the phone, I got the feeling they were both very excited about the idea of working with us. I’m pretty sure I was able to make them both feel comfortable, because they told me they were going to travel to Melbourne just to have their photography done with me personally, which was a nice compliment indeed.
Clint and Rachel travelled down from Sydney by car, and as it happened, their road trip coincided with their anniversary, so they splashed out on a great holiday home location in Arthur’s Seat called “Northern Aspects”. It has the most amazing view during the day – but at night, it’s even better. You can see the whole bay from right up on the hilltop, complete with a private outdoor heated spa so you can relax and watch the lights with a couple of glasses of wine. Divine!
Inside, the location had a wonderful open setting, which allowed us to work in various areas of the house. Since Clint and Rachel had done a lot of research of their own, and had pretty specific ideas about the images they wanted, they had come well prepared with an enormous scrapbook of sample images. Rachel had chosen a great selection of sexy lingerie and outfits that really flattered her (Clint obviously loved that!), and Clint even had a set of over-alls and a fireman’s axe that looked pretty darn fantastic, as well as some great Khakis and a black shirt for that real military look.
In the end, Clint and Rachel were really happy with the results. Here’s what Clint and Rachel had to say about their Hot Chilli Photography experience:

They definitely got the erotic and sexy images they came for, and I was really delighted to have met them too. They were a fun, attractive and open couple, they both looked great, and I had a lot of fun working with them.
